LockGlyph jailbreak tweak brings about the Apple Pay fingerprint confirmation animation on to your Touch ID feature. The tweak, available on Cydia store, only works with Apple devices that support Touch ID including the iPhone 5S , iPhone 6, and the iPhone 6S. If you can unlock your Apple device using the fingerprint authentication, then LockGlyph will certainly work on it.
Why Install LockGlyph
While LockGlyph doesn’t add any functionality to the performance of the Touch ID, it just makes the entire experience even better. Not only can you see how the feature reads the fingerprint, but it also produces interesting sounds. The tweak works on the Apple Touch ID when you are unlocking your device.
Despite the interesting nature of this tweak, it is worth noting that the tweak adds a second or slightly more on the time that Touch ID takes to unlock your device. While many will find this a big con of the tweak, the interesting looks and sounds will just be too good to leave.
You can easily enable and disable LockGlyph straight from the settings app on your Apple device. The good thing about the toggle is that you don’t need to respring your device for it to take effect.
LockGlyph is that powerful of an app that adds lots of features on your device. It simply creates an amazing effect that you will enjoy every time you unlock your device. If you would like to use this tweak, simply visit Cydia’s BigBoss repo and type in the name, then search. Installation is easy and you only need to either toggle it on or off to enable or disable it.
The tweak is available free of charge. If you have any comments or suggestions about LockGlyph, please leave them in the comment section below. We’ll be happy to hear from you.
