The latest iOS has loads of features out of the box. However, a great deal of such features have been there in previous versions of iOS. The only thing that iOS 10 has done is officially include them and remove the beta-tag that they may have had in the past. A classic example of previous features that are now official in iOS 10 are the Breadcrumb links. The links would appear in the Status bar as you switch between apps. As such, if you want the new design of Breadcrumb links on your jailbroken iPhone, iPad, or iPod running on iOS 9, then the Breadcrumb10 tweak will come in handy.
Why Breadcrumb10 is a Good Pick
Right from the launch of iOS 9, it was possible to quickly go back to the previous app you have just used. You could do so thanks to the link that appeared in the Status bar that had a small black arrow then the text “Back to [Name of App]”. The biggest problem with such an arrangement was its wasteful usage of space. As a result, it was not possible to see your Wi-Fi or data signal.
Things are a little bit tidy in iOS 10 regarding the Breadcrumb links. The feature now only has the name of the previous app and an arrow. In so doing, it saves up on valuable space.
Given the improvement of the Breadcrumb links feature in iOS 10, it is now possible to enjoy the same in iOS 9. That is where the Breadcrumb10 comes in. If you want to try it, go ahead to search for it in Cydia’s BigBoss repo. It will cost you no money and works on all versions of iOS 9.
After installing Breadcrumb10, it immediately takes effect since it does not have any options to configure. Will you be trying out this tweak? Let us know in the comment section below!
